UNI Physics Update Conference

The UNI Physics Update is a one-day conference in the spring for secondary physics and physical science teachers that focuses on issues and topics related to the teaching high school physics. The conference includes informative Physics Photopresentations related to the latest physics and science education research; faculty and student presentations and/or tours on the latest research and innovative teaching methods and materials currently being used to teach physical science and physics; and lunch and informal discussions with colleagues, university faculty, and secondary science teaching majors on issues relevant to the teaching of high school physics. Potential UNI Physics outreach and professional development opportunities available to high school students and teachers are also discussed. This year's conference will be held April 27, 2007 at the University of Northern Iowa in the Center for Energy and Environmental Education (CEEE) Building on the UNI campus.
