UNI Physics Update Conference |

The UNI Physics Update is a one-day conference in the
spring for secondary physics and physical science teachers that focuses
on issues and topics related to the teaching high school physics.

presentations
related to the latest physics and science education research; faculty
and student presentations and/or tours on the latest research and
innovative teaching methods and materials currently being used to
teach physical science and physics; and lunch and informal discussions
with colleagues, university faculty, and secondary science teaching
majors on issues relevant to the teaching of high school physics.
Potential UNI Physics outreach and professional development opportunities
available to high school students and teachers are also discussed.
This year's conference will be held April 27, 2007
at the University of Northern Iowa in the Center for Energy and Environmental
Education (CEEE) Building on the UNI campus.
