October 10, 2006. Some members of the UNI Physics Club prepare to tour the Physics Bldg work site. From left to right: Dan Eivens, Chuck Pelton, Jenah Harris, Justin Bohnet, Kimberly Cordray, Matthew Karl, and Dr. Cliff Chancey.

October 10, 2006. Standing in front of what was the main entrance on the north side of the building, looking straight up. The ceiling in the distance is the floor of the attic. The previous stairs have been removed (note the wall markings), and the small rooms and offices against the north wall (top of photo) have been removed with the floors. Dr. Dale Olson's inner office was at the first window on the right of the photo. This space is cleared for what will be the new central stairway.

October 10, 2006. Students stand in the future Physics Majors Lounge, where the ping pong table will be (Room 101A). The future kitchen area will be to the right, where venting is stacked. The students are standing in front of what was the west wall of PHY 109 (the Electronics I lab).

October 30, 2006. Physics Advisory Board visit what will be the Physics Office on the 2nd level (SE corner of the building. This area was at the front of PHY 201, the large lecture theater. At front, from left: Mr. Jim Arns (Physics Advisory Board member), Dr. Dale Olson, Dr. Roger Hanson (Prof. Emeritus), Mr. Randy Dumse and Dr. Robert Spulak (both Physics Advisory Board members). In the center, at back, Dr. Fred Behroozi points toward Lang Hall and faces Dr. Rueben Collins (Physics Advisory Board member).

October 30, 2006. A Saturday walk through the Physics Bldg renovation with the Physics Advisory Board. Dr. Fred Behroozi stands on level 1 in what will be the new main entrance on the building's south side. This area was part of Dr. Dale Olson's Modern Optics teaching lab. Dr. Dan Claes (chair, Physics Advisory Board) and his son stand at back near what will become the main doors.

October 30, 2006. From left to right: Dr. Roger Hanson (Prof. Emeritus), Mr. Jim Arns (Physics Advisory Board member), and Dr. Dan Claes (Physics Advisory Board member) and his son. This photo likely shows some area of the new 2nd level [which like level 3 had drywall up at this time].
