May 31, 2007. Standing between Lang Hall and the east entrance
of the Physics Bldg., looking up at the 2nd floor Physics-Lang
link. The Physics end of the link enters the building just
outside the new Physics Office-an area at the front of PHY
201 (large lecture room) before the renovation.

May 31, 2007. Work begins on the stone surround for the new
main entrance. A steel frame is in place to support the limestone
facing. This entrance, and the new entry hall, runs through
what was Dr. Dale Olson's Modern Optics teaching lab.

May 31, 2007. Lang Hall, room 243-the future Physics II teaching
lab. This room will accommodate 32 students, distributed 4 to
a peninsular table. The new Physics-Lang link enters Lang Hall
just to the left of what will be the room entrance (forward
to the left). Renovation of this space (and of Lang 383 above
it) began during the second week of May-following the end of
Spring 2007 classes.

June 26, 2007. The Electronics & Robotics teaching lab,
before the arrival of 10 electronics benches (the only furniture
to make it from the old building to the new building). This
space was the "demo room" behind the blackboards in
the large lecture hall (PHY 201). The new Physics-Lang link
can be glimpsed outside the right-hand window.

June 26, 2007. The new main entrance and the entry hall leading
to the central hallway. The old chair rails have been recreated
and wooden floor molding has replaced the concrete moldings
in the old building. Note the staggered ceiling.

June 26, 2007. Office furniture (Hon) in the midst of being
assembled, on the top floor in one of the four faculty offices
on the building's south side.

June 26, 2007. Boxes of office furniture line the central hallway
on the top floor. Room 314, the new Physics I teaching lab,
is straight ahead. The new west stairwell is behind the photographer.
Note the stepped ceiling and indirect hallway lighting. The
open doors show the wood and stain color for moldings and doors.

June 26, 2007. The Physics-Lang link, looking east from the
Physics terminus. It travels over the Radio-TV production studies
in Lang Hall before ending up outside Lang 243 (the new Physics
II teaching lab).
